Two of these common problems are really cheats by me because there aren’t a lot of common problems on these engines and drivetrains. Another thing to check is the FICM harness at the side of the alternator, it is tied down with a zip tie. The sharp corner of the FICM bracket cuts into the wires and causes a short.
