Mar 11, 2024 · In most it is as simple as pressing the unlock button on the fob, then immediately pressing it a second time and holding it down. Works on our Accord as long as we are closer than 10 feet away from the car. Does not work at all on our HR-V. On our older cars it works without a fob by basically doing the same thing with the key in the door handle.

There's not a setting within the vehicle that would make the windows automatically roll down. So I think the issue might be the key fob.
I had a Lexus RX350 and the unlock button on the key fob must have been accidentally held down while in my pocket. Fortunately I discovered it right away as all the windows and sunroof were open and it was raining! I had the dealer re-program to delete that feature.
