I have been looking at my first round baler looking for something that makes a 4x5-6 bale and want net wrap. I was talked out of a 435 after talking to several people that said if you want net wrap in a older baler get a New Holland. What's the Pro's and Cons to the 640, 644, or 648 New Holland's.

The arms won't release. Well we figured out if you let some of the pressure off the hydraulics then they would go down, however now we get loose rolls.
I copied/pasted 1 solution that might address your balers problem. Another possible cause is the net is not being cut cleanly leaving a long tail which the hay or rolls can catch and start wrapping.
