It's just a different vibe from the Condado and/or Isla Verde areas. Those areas are trendier and a little more metropolitan. The Old San Juan is well, the Old San Juan and it has the historic, kind of melancholic/romantic vibe. There's actually a very romantic hotel in the OSJ that is perfect for honeymooners.
