A brand new torque converter doesn't fix the issue. GM is no longer replacing torque converters. The new fix is supposedly to be released on Q1 2019. For now they are just continuing the band-aid fluid flush.

Explained the shudder issue. They did the TSB and were familiar with it. I never even had to bring it up. I did have it ready though. Repair is covered under your 5yr/60k power train warranty. If you are outside that I would imagine you are paying out of pocket. The bill the dealership had was around $400. I paid $0
