Chrysler pacifica dvd player not working.
The one problem with using an aftermarket is that Chrysler uses a PCI bus system (essentially 2 cables to carry the signals for all speakers). The power will work because that is part of the plug at the deck but for the audio from the deck goes to the back of the Pac to an amp (even on the basic systems) which is underneath the back storage deck then from there it feeds out to the speakers.

#1 · Feb 10, 2022. 2022 Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle model comes with a new entertainment system that has FireTV. But then the Blu-Ray player is not working. There is no option to select the source as Blu-Ray under Media or anywhere in the Menu option. Took the car to dealership and they had no clue on this new entertainment system.Recently bought a 2022 touring L and it took me a while to solve the puzzle about how to play videos via its rear USB port. Here are a list of tips on this finicky system. I have tested virous USBs, from 32Gb up to 256Gb, and type 2.0/3.0/3.1, as long as the format is FAT32, they should all play without any issue.
The one by the DVD player is only for the rear video screens. The 6 disc changer was separate from the RSV (Rear Seat Video). The van was probably ordered with the CD/DVD changer (intending to be able to load 6 music CDs), but not the RSV. I immediatley turned off the radio, and spent the next 3-5 mins thinking WTF. Then I came up to the next turn, and the Navigation told me to turn left.

The overhead DVD player changed to Bluetooth headphones in 2019 or 2020 (not sure which), but a 2018 would definitely still use IR headphones if the overhead DVD player was installed at the factory. You'd need to check the window sticker to confirm this.

At first it was off from my actual location, and now it just stopped working. Vehicle stopped moving on the map as i drive.
IF this is the DVD Player below the Radio, then "both" Units need to be sent for Repair to be sure the Logic Circuit matches, otherwise you will be changing out units and may never find the right one IF you purchased a USED DVD, that could be one of the problems, as many of these Units fail and are sold On-Line, E-Bay, etc.
first check to see if the dvd slipped into the player incorrectly.. my child inserted a dvd into the player. it went onto of the slot.. i took a butter knife to slip the dvd out, of course messed up the dvd but was able to get it out.. if not you can open up the player and get it out not very hard. hope this helps good luck. Radio will be dead at this point. Then shut the car off, wait a couple mins and reconnect the m10 fuse. Then turn the car back on. This may restore your Uconnect.
