Their is a wire (blue) that's become loose that connects to the radio Modual located behind the glovebox on the right side. Remove glovebox door , remove panel.Behind the panel you will see a Modual that mounted sideway , blue wire should connect to the box from left hand. Remove Modual and Unplug the wire and then plug back up.It looks like there was the OTA update that was sent to the "Radio" And that had also triggered an update in the Instrument cluster for the main ECU and something called "graphic update". He re-forced the graphic update and then after that was able to re update the ECU. That seemed to fix the issue. not sure why a OTA update would interact with ...

I had the same issue with my 2014 Sierra. Except on mine it overlayed all the screens on to one screen. So on mine you would have it on radio, and all the other screens would show up on it. I took it they updated it and all is good now. Grab a short piece of bare, single strand wire. Hop in the driver's seat, turn on the ignition and stereo. Listen to a nice song. Then, turn off the ignition. Open the door if you want; the switch is disconnected so the stereo should still be playing. Use your piece of wire to short across the three-wire (4-pin) connector, blk/grn to black.
