Re: Harley motor to VW trans axel. While there used to be several adapter manufacturers offering a HD to VW kit, to my knowledge Rewaco is the only viable source for them anymore. Most of the suppliers quit offering them due to rear bearing failure in the motor (too much VW flywheel stuck on the HD crank end).

Since the tranny is a seperate unit it can be left off and the primary CVT clutch can be mounted directly to the crankshaft of the V-twin. Any V-4 engines set up like a Harley?
