ShiftPod vs RV Camping. Sup ya'll - we are way closer to Burning Man that it seems! This will be my sixth burn.. each year I've stayed in a 6-person Coleman, which has been decent. I'd recommend that set-up to all who need a cheap setup as it def did the job and felt cozy at times.

The rectangular 10' shape of the Kodiak jussst barely fits into a 10x10 EMT shade, and the space inside is way more efficient. The octagon hexagon shape of the Shiftpod creates a bunch of corners and small "walls" that angle into each other and make for an odd, inefficient use of the space. It kinda sucks!It is a high-tech, weather-insulated tent that takes just 5 minutes to set up, without requiring any poles or additional support. The entire tent is constructed from three-layer, insulated and UV-reflective nylon. This nylon covering can reflect the sun’s rays to keep inner environment cool in summer and warm during winter.Grateful for any insight from folks who have tested this dual hose setup in a shiftpod.
