I came back from the range for the first time with the G3C and pushed both disassembly switches down, pulled the trigger and tried to slide the slide off, but got stuck in this position. It will only move forward or backward a tiny bit, but I cannot seem to get it out of this position. Now, strip the firearm, and look carefully at the underside of the slide, beneath the firing-pin, in the area where the slide touches the round in the top of the magazine. If there is roughness there, you have already found a large part of your problem. This area should also be s - m -o oooooooth as can be.
