Jul 9, 2018 · 2016 Ranger 900 XP Ground Issues. New to the forum and this is my first post. Last night I was out checking water tanks and mineral tubs on the Polaris. I shut off the machine to do a few things. When I went to start it up again it would not even turn over. The dash display was blank and there was a clicking under seat coming from the EFI relay. I have a 2011 Ranger XP and was having the same problem and took it to the dealer 6 months ago. When I picked it up they told me it was a maintenance issue and I had to pay $100.00. it did fix the problem but it came bake 5 months later. ... I then took that cover off to make sure the roller hadn't come off the pawl arm and that the spring pushing against the arm was still there and complete.
