Jul 6, 2020 · Many years ago, I purchased a used Century Arms rifle that was marked “C308” and it looked very similar to the H&K Model 91 (“HK91”) battle rifle, with only a few slight differences. One difference was it had a faux flash hider on it, not a deal-breaker. And, whoever owned it before I did, performed a fairly decent spray paint can camo ... The rifles also become known commercially as the Heckler & Koch HK 91. The G3/HK 91 has served long and well and achieved recognition as both an accurate and reliable firearm. The Century C308 rifle is an attractive and functional clone of the HK91 rifle. The rifle operates by use of a roller-cam mechanism.The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at. The PTRs are built from the ground up off of surplussed HK G3 tooling, if I recall correctly, and it shows. The Century Arms C308 Rifle Wood Furniture is built from original Cetme surplus parts kits with a new USA made receiver. These rifle are in excellent condition and come with two 20 round magazines. Dec 26, 2018 · Nice looking rifle. I bought a used c308 in May and put wood on it before I even shot it. The rifle has good bolt and ct gap and is a pleasure to shoot.
