Unfortunately this is far to common on LML's than it should be. Seems 11-13 had a pretty high rate of failure at 150k+ miles. It's a crap shoot when the break occurs and ... its the operator fault. he is over stressing the engine. when the crank breaks on the 5-6 rod, its always a misuse of the engine. The operator over stress the engine. if its the 1-2 rod, the operator uses way too much the engine brake, or its running the motor at high rpm without load.

If you think it might be a rod bearing, pull the filter cut it open, unroll the filter media and take a look for metal, you can also order an oil sample kit, take the sample send it in and it will also tell the tale, if its a bearing. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
