I've read many things from this forum before but finally decided to join as I couldn't find a post with quite the same problem and I'm getting stumped. Truck is a 2003 LB7 I brought back from texas with me a few years ago, shes got about 260k on her right now. 09 lmm throwing p0090 code fpr circuit. I’ve changed fpr, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor. Still getting code. I ohmed out my fpr wire and it’s good. I’m showing 25k-29k psi on fuel rail. I’m also only getting 2.5v-3v at the fpr plug. I’ve read it’s suppose to be 5v. any input is welcome. On the way home from Antrim last month, after just filling up at the station by the track, my truck started getting the loud injector rattle that comes along with the rail pressure being to high from a bad or disconnected fpr. Shortly after the truck went into reduced power mode and a P0090 code came up. I had the code read at Auto Zone. They said it had to do with fuel pressure control/performance. EGR delete by my definition is complete removal of system components which is a highly invasive and unnecessary procedure. It also requires ECM programming to deal with the DTC’s associated with removal of the EGR motor. Essentially an EGR delete removes the EGR valve/motor assembly along with the EGR cooler etc.
