FM has LRBHO built into the lower and its functions flawlessly. Aero has it built into the upper but I dont like the same design nearly as much. If I was building one Id go with the foxtrot mike lower and handpick the rest of the parts. If you prefer the aero upper/ lower then Id buy those together and piece the rest together.

Has anyone successfully integrated a EPC-9 lower with a Foxtrot Mike side-charging upper? I understand that the LRBHO is on the EPC-9 upper and that this feature will not be available if the FM-9 upper is compatible. Local shops here seem to be more inclined to stock Aero products than FM products.Personally I've used bear creek 5.56 uppers, and I'm not a huge fan. Sold that rifle to build another upper. However I do have a foxtrot mike upper, and would highly recommend them. If you have the ability to save some extra cash, the foxtrot mike is vastly superior in build quality
