I was disconnecting the mower from the tractor this weekend when I noticed a portion of the drive shaft connecting the mower to the pto shaft was exposed. Somehow a portion of the protective cover dissapeared, presumably while mowing. This is a two piece shaft that slides together as this finish mower "floats" on swivels behind the tractor.
