I might switch to TradeStation if the fills are decent. Ninjatrader is also down right now - they had acquired Tradovate, and seem to be using their systems on it. As I said I don't use Tradovate, but basic data in CQG data in Ninjatrader is $12 a month, and it provides the main CME instruments, among many others. Either way, you are paying for market data. Tradovate and TS have pros and cons. TradeStation software is much more powerful. Their desktop app only runs on Windows though. Their mobile app is good although wouldn't really ever want to be trading on a phone. About this arrangement itself, it might not be a scam since tradovate seems to be regulated and more like gamified SPX options, but if you cannot do anything with your position, it goes back to the why binary options are gambling. Besides like I said, this is easily replicated behind the scene, so you are likely to be shortchanged.
