Dec 23, 2020 · The KRG Bravo chassis looks promising in that it is simple, not that much heavier than a carbon fiber stock once the mini-chassis is installed, and the plastic sides should help mitigate the cold metal issue found in other chassis, plus it is muchcheaper. However, I have also read about spotty qc and fittment issues.

Lots of options out there for stocks and chassis. MDT LSS, MDT XRS, KRG Bravo, Oryx, PDC Custom, MDT ACC, XLR Element, MPA CZ Chassis and Manners stocks all come to mind off the top of my head. Honestly, at least for what has been released so far, the Bravo seems like a better product with many more accessories and options. You can pick up a Bravo and a couple of accessories for the same price that the XRS is supposed to sell for. The MDT skeleton buttstock is more precise with its adjustments vs the KRG offerings. I prefer the temperature insensitive polymer of the KRG during the winter. I am using a factory barrel and to the lands with 140 ELD is 2.945 OAL and my best performer is 2.925. 6.5 Creedmoor. Loaded that long, the tip doesn't feed reliably and 75% just nose dives into the KRG magwell.

The factory Ruger American 450 bushmaster magazine works for my Ruger American predator in 6.5cm (which uses the 308 multi caliber magazine). It's only a 3 round capacity but seems much more reliable then the stock magazine.MDT XRS Chassis including the enclosed forend and optional forend weight.
