Get some 4" aluminum angle, 3/8 or 1/2" thick. Then get a plate of flat 3/8 or 1/2" to make plates for the back side. You can then get a used or new, offshore mount, from hardin marine, or swap shop here. It bolts to the engine block, then gets bolted to the aluminum L brackets. It is a 60 mph boat all day long in florida heat. In 2007, they modified hull and interior. 2006 prior there is a separate stateroom for the master with a door, 2007 after the cabin is one big area with a curtain for the master bed. Love the boat, fast, stable and lots of room for family and friends. You can get the clutch plates online. That clutch drum and some of the associated parts are from a Ford FMX trans. Those are the clutch plates you'll need. There is no specific forward gear. The clutches lock up to give you forward. Those gears create reverse through the planetary when the band locks the drum down.Marine engines need more clearance between the piston and cylinder wall because of two things. 1. The pistons are under a greater heat load and run hotter, hence, they are expanded more. Remember, aluminum expands a lot with heat. 2. Marine blocks run cold and therefore don't expand as much as automotive blocks.
