I have been looking around on kvar, and Im seeing a bunch of hardware that loo...Any stock meant for stamped AKs will fit. A standard lower handguard will need some material on the inside removed to fit over the 12 gauge barrel. Or Ironwood Designs sells furniture mostly ready to go. Some fitting is always necessary. The Romak-3 is every bit as good as the real Dragunov. Accuracy is just the same. A Saiga is NOT built to the same precision or standards. A Saiga .308 is going to have about 200 yards effective accuracy. A Romak-3 is going to be a strong contender out to 600 yards, or 800 if you get a good one and are a good shot.Laminate AKM handguards are great because you're going to have to bore a lot & Laminate is much stronger than solid wood, which can crack. The humps in the AKM are great to keep thickness. I fitted a set of .308 wood to a Saiga-12 a while back. The forend needs some material hogged out and re-stained, as well as a new handguard screw hole and slot carved into the wood. I just acquired my first Saiga 308-1 and love it. I could only find the 21-inch barrel model with wood stocks, and while I love its appearance, I may have to swap the wood furniture out for something a little lighter.
