Later if you decide to port the head, its the rod not a hole. Up for sale is a pair of DOVE-C heads for a ford 429 or 460.They are in decent USED shape and I would recommend rebuilding them but that is up to you. They have light surface rust and some dust and grime on them.

There is a big difference between those heads. DOVE-C heads were casted in 1970 and have a 75cc combustion chamber. D3VE-A2A heads were casted in 1973 and sport a 92cc combustion chamber and induction hardened exsaust seats.
