It will not be an easy swap. It can be made to fit. The 2001 has a Magnetti Marelli EFI and you will need the wiring harness and more if yours doesn't have the MM EFI. With the amount you will likely spend to do the conversion you can probably buy a later model used TwinCam ready to ride. Very good bolt in for a 96", little undercammed for the 103" but produces great torque in every range and a wonderful cam for touring (with a little racing fun too). Very quiet and well mannered. No cam noise like some of the other cams out there.I called my local HD dealer to ask how much it would cost to perform a cam swap and dyno. They quoted me 10 hours of labor @ $100/hr, plus 3 hours for the dyno - $1,300 total. I called two other dealers and one quoted 6 hours and the other one quoted 4-5 hours.
