Come to find out I have NO SPARK, not a bit. Changed plug,coil,ignitor. Jumper all 3 safety switches- seat-brake-reverse. And I still have nothing.

With a spark plug in the coil wire, and the plug touching ground (negative), touch the wire on the negative side of the coil to ground and then remove it repeatedly. It looks like your jumper to 12 volts is done correctly -- so if the other terminal of the coil is getting switched up and down it should provide spark. Missing under load is a classic symptom of a secondary ignition issue. This is especially critical with the wasted spark system as both plugs fire in series at the same time. They were a little pitted so I filed them down to take the pitting out. Regapped them a little under .020". Was able to get a little spark when touching a screwdriver across the points. Cleaned off the pickup on the flywheel, ran a new lead from trigger unit to coil, and tractor fired right up. Shut it off, let sit a minute, fired right back up. Let itnsit 10 minutes and now no spark again. It is not the ignition switch as I have the coil wired directly to the trigger unit for testing.The 318 is a real workhorse, and we can suggest what is likely your ignition related root cause as this thread unfolds and we see more of your test results. The primary resistance of the coil is not the only thing to measure.
