John deere 7000 planter soybean population chart.
I have a 6 row John Deere 7000 conservation planter. I just bought a set of kinze brush meters to plant soybeans with. Does anyone have a rate chart for them? Or know what cogs to set the chain on for 140,000 population? The planter is on 30 in rows as well. Thanks

Either rotate the drive wheel equal to 17'-4" and catch the seeds and count, or roll across hard ground and measure out 17' and count the seeds on top of the ground and multiply X 1000.I have the planter manual. But, the chart for seed populations only goes up to 45,000 for 30 inch rows, which seems waaay low. There is another section that gives seed populations in pounds. In this section, I found 60 pounds per acre, which is what I want, about 150,000 soybeans per acre. The chart lists 2 plates; H1255B and H2527B.

If there ever was a ground driven 7000, there should be similar tables out there.
