First thing is to check and clean all the electrical connections on the EPS unit. You won’t be able to tell if it’s cracked until you pull the sprague and squeeze it to see they are detached. Here's the whole story: Yesterday, I bought a 2006 Ranger 4x4. I know its history, which has mostly been sitting in a garage. It only had 11.7 hours on it when the previous owner passed away in January. The clock now has more than 13 hours on it, mainly from trying to make it run properly, which it won't do.
