Problem is the shift solenoid is in 1st gear now while the truck is in park up on ramps. If you were stuck in 4th gear full time (even from a stop, which makes it feel really sluggish), then it is likely an electrical problem (wiring or a bad sensor). You will need the fault code to tell WHICH wire / sensor is giving the problem. If it tries to shift into 5th (and slips, then aborts) it should set a P0735 fault, and put you into logical limp-in (1st and 4th gears only). If that is what's happening, you probably have a burned OD clutch.
