I always play a ranged/healing Cragheart. The fun stuff seems just so difficult and out there to pull off. I tried my darnedest to make use of the obstacle gameplay but it always fell short or required me to make significant plays just to get the ball rolling on them. When i could just heal six hitpoints or muddle three dudes.Personally, I prefer to create a ranged destruction squad with the SW's summon and Cragheart's Backup Ammunition, putting out 4 ranged attacks every round. The obstacle build isn't very effective until you hit lvl 4 and take Rock Slide. That card by itself makes any 'build' viable. Avalanche and Rock Tunnel are mediocre. The Savvas Cragheart was the second Gloomhaven character I played. It is so much fun. There are many build options, but this Cragheart build guide focuses on the ranged build.Build - Spellweaver Trailblazer. The main goal of this build is to clear jobs in easy difficulty very quickly. You can regularly complete some jobs by round 3 and you will very rarely need more than 5 rounds. It is not fully optimized, some cards / items could be changed to make it even faster. Spellweaver.They are each disarmed. I gain 3 XP for targeting 3 enemies. I use Backup Ammunition and to add a target. A Stamina Potion is obviously good, too, but with the Cragheart's higher hand size, I think it is less of a priority. Google it, as I've not bookmarked the thread. Focus on the ranged cards, and make armored threats your priority. As you level, focus on the cards that let you hit things at range. Our Mindthief and Cragheart both just retired. Most of craghearts straight damage attacks don't affect allies. The ones that do, only do one or two damage. A heads up like 'if you end your turn there, you're going to get hurt' is nice but taking one or two damage should not be a big deal. It honestly didn't come up that much.
