Ford f250 on 37s.
I had 7.3 with basically 35s, going from 3.73 to a 4.30 gearing was fantastic, with 37s your net would be slightly lower than 4.10 gearing on a stock tire. I think 4.56 would be too tall, I’d recommend 4.30, good balance for towing and mpgs. I would go at least 4.88's if you tow anything remotely heavy.
37's look really great. Here's my take on them after 14,000 miles: Pros: - Look awesome. - Provides 1 extra inch of clearance. - Raises the running boards higher which provides more protection from door dings. Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. I get 9.5 mpg towing my 6Kish lb pontoon boat and 11-12.5 around the city. I haven’t had it on a road trip yet where I keep a constant speed.

Tire pressure in 37" tires. I have a 04 6.0 with 37x13.5 Toyo's on it. Most people run way more air in their tires than needed. I normally let air out until the tire sits flat on the ground. To get a good footprint I had to go to 40psi front and 30 psi rear. Assuming similar air pressures and tire construction either 37” tire SHOULD be a little softer riding.Everything riding good. Got the 2.5 inch kit with track bar relocation bracket. Set up is 37x13.50R22 Nitto Recon Grapplers and 22x10 Axe Icarus wheels. Recon Grapplers are a new tire from Nitto, they ride great, quiet and aggressive. I love this truck.
