If you are going to do that then your need to look at different powders. If your goal is just a good plinking round then you can use the same powder , powder charge and bullet in both the 9mm and the 357 sig. Heck I have found several powders that you can use the same powder and powder charge with 40 sw 180 and 9mm 124's.
