I think providing the Japanese PC userbase with an official release in their own language as early as possible is a higher priority for NISA and Falcom than worrying about an English fan patch at this point. As far as I'm aware, people are already using a patch for Kuro II anyway, so it shouldn't make that much of a difference in this regard.

The game actually ran fine smooth fps and no crashes or bugs, but the graphics looked terrible and there is no 4K support. Kuro no Kiseki released on Steam about a month ago and a English patch for the game using Zerofield's translation was available Day One, I believe due to the sheer luck of the PC and PS4 versions sharing similar file and folder structures. A 3rd party has been working on injecting the translation into a hacked PS4 for months prior to release.

Ofc some minor npcs are just MTL but the story is well translated and i had no problems understand it at all :) They translated the NPC and newspapers for the prologue and Chapter 1 Side A.
