RV owners just don't put the time and miles on to have the issues but the issues are there and will develop. The EGR to meet standards didn't work. I adjusted a couple of viscous engine fans on the MaxxForce 7 engines and it actually solved the problem of overheating. On the road test the fan kicked in sooner and helped cool down the engine.Most likely your engine was made in 2012, probably has the older DPF, needs a new DPF and several ECM changes which have been made to enhance the DPF life. The newer DPF is less restrictive. The possibilities are endless. International once had a great rep for service, the Maxxforce series changed that for certain.
