Mar 21, 2020 · Just a small trade. $10 stop loss and a 1.2X target. As soon as I shift-right click on the chart to buy all of TradeStation froze. I had no idea if the order was placed. I was not able to click cancel or close. I could not even close TradeStation. All I was left to do was reboot my computer with TradeStation open and restart TradeStation.
Well, now I need it to backtest a new strategy. P.s. simulators are well worth the money IMO because you can backtest a whole strategy in 1 or 2 days across 50 trading sessions. If I tried to do that on a demo it would take me over 70 days. If anybody can point me towards a user-friendly trading simulator that has the ability to go backwards ... SIM vs. LIVE. Nov 17, 2020 · First guy had me delete cache files in several locations (localappdata folder and CAL folder) as well as delete the matrix file in regedit. It did not do anything to fix the issue. I do not have a ton of different windows open; just tradestation with 2 charts, matrix, and time and sales. The charts are naked and do not display orders on them.
